Shavuot · Brooklyn
Stay up for tikkun. We have the kids.
Shavuot night is one of the few in the year that's built for the adults to stay up — tikkun leil Shavuot, late shul, the long meal that doesn't end. The kids still need bedtime on a normal hour. Becky and Shelly cover that.
Familiar with the holiday
Becky and Shelly grew up in this Brooklyn — Mill Basin, Bergen Beach, Marine Park, Midwood corridor. They know what a Shavuot meal looks like, why bedtime is on a normal time even though the adults are up till 4am, and that the cheesecake gets cut after the kids are in bed.
Hebrew-speaking sessions available — see the Hebrew-speaking page.

First-night dinner + tikkun
Sitter arrives before licht, covers bedtime, you go to shul or stay up at home for tikkun. We hold the whole evening through bedtime.
Overnight option
If you're out for tikkun till sunrise, we can stay overnight on a case-by-case basis. See overnight care.
Second-day lunch
Both nights of yom tov are blockable. If you're hosting a big meal day two, we take the kids' table.
Lead time
Lock the slot at least three weeks before yom tov. Both nights go fast — especially the first night, which is when most families want coverage for tikkun.
