Overnight care · Brooklyn

Overnights are case-by-case. Often, yes.

We don't list overnights as a flat service because every overnight is its own thing — a hospital stay, a red-eye flight, a wedding upstate, a long-overdue anniversary. Tell us what the night looks like and we'll tell you what we can do.

Who books an overnight sitter in Brooklyn

Real reasons, not edge cases.

A second baby, mid-hospital stay

Mom's in labor or recovering at Methodist or Maimonides. The older kid still needs dinner, bath, story, breakfast. Dad needs to be at the hospital, not running back to Brooklyn at 2am.

A wedding two hours away

Ceremony in the Hudson Valley, reception runs late, kids stay home. We're there from 4pm Saturday to 10am Sunday, full bedtime through breakfast.

A red-eye out of JFK

You leave Brooklyn at 9pm. The other parent lands in the morning. Nobody's in the house overnight unless we are.

A long-overdue anniversary

One night in Manhattan. The kids stay in their own beds, in their own routine. You wake up not having had to drive home.

How overnight pricing works

Hourly through bedtime. Flat sleep block. Hourly again at wake-up.

The hours we're actively awake with the kids — dinner, bath, bedtime, then morning routine — bill at the standard hourly rate. The sleep block in between is a separate flat fee, not hourly.

We talk through the exact number when you reach out. Nothing about an overnight is templated, and the math depends on how late, how early, and how many kids. You'll know the full price before we confirm.

What we need from you

  • · A bed or couch in a quiet room
  • · The full bedtime and morning routine, written down
  • · Emergency contacts and pediatrician info
  • · Whatever the kids eat for dinner and breakfast
  • · A phone you'll actually answer if something comes up

Tell us the night.

We'll tell you the answer the same day.
