What counts as part-time for you?
Anywhere from 4 to 25 hours a week, spread across 1 to 4 visits. Under 4 hours you're probably better served by one-off bookings. Over 25, you're probably looking for a full-time nanny — which we're not.
Is the rate the same for part-time?
Yes. $25/hr for one child, $28/hr for two, +$3/hr per additional. No part-time discount, but also no premium — you pay the same as a one-off booking.
How do I start?
Tell us the days and hours you're thinking, which kids, and which neighborhood. We'll confirm whether Becky or Shelly has those slots open and lock them in.
What happens when a school break comes up?
We keep the slot reserved for your family. You can cancel a specific week with notice, or use it for a longer session that week — your call.
Can both Becky and Shelly alternate weeks?
Possible if both have availability, but we usually don't recommend it — kids do better with one consistent face. We'll suggest the setup that actually works.
Do you do full-time (40 hours)?
No. Above about 25 hours a week we recommend a dedicated full-time nanny from an agency that specializes in that model. We're set up for part-time; someone else does full-time better.
