For families visiting Brooklyn

Airbnb Babysitters in Brooklyn

Brooklyn's a lot more fun without a toddler melting down in a stroller at 9 PM. If you're visiting — weekend trip, wedding in the family, a week in an Airbnb — Brooklyn Sitters covers families who aren't locals. We come to your rental, run the kids' evening while you get a real dinner at Lilia or a real walk across the Brooklyn Bridge, and we're there when you get back. Same hourly rate as locals. We'll also point you at the kid-friendly Brooklyn stuff for the next day, if you ask.

What parents say

Kids ask for them by name.

Becky is wonderful with children, responsible, and very dependable. She does a great job, and I feel comfortable knowing my kids are in good hands!!

Ariel Kattan

So flexible, communicative, and amazing with children. It’s one thing to be a babysitter but when the kids WANT me to leave you know they’re doing a good job.

Common questions

Airbnb FAQ.

How do I book if I'm just visiting?

Same way as anyone else. Use the booking form — put the Airbnb address in the notes and the neighborhood in the area field. We'll confirm and coordinate meeting you at check-in if needed.

What if our rental is in a neighborhood you don't usually serve?

We cover South Brooklyn, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Heights with standard pricing. Other Brooklyn neighborhoods are case-by-case — ask and we'll tell you straight.

Can you meet us at check-in so the kids see you before we leave?

Yes — it's the right play for out-of-town families. We'll come 15–20 minutes early, meet the kids while you're still there, and transition smoothly.

What if we don't have car seats / cribs / supplies?

Most Airbnbs have a basic crib. For stroller rentals or additional gear, we can point you at NYC baby-gear rental services. We don't bring gear ourselves.

Will you recommend things to do with kids in Brooklyn tomorrow?

Absolutely. Tell us the ages and we'll list three or four spots worth the trip. Real recommendations, not tourist trap stuff.

Can we book for multiple nights of our trip?

Yes, and we encourage it — same sitter each night is easier on the kids. Lock in the nights when you book so we can block them out.
