When you're the sick one
You're sick. The kid is fine.
The flu, the migraine, the third day of food poisoning, the recovery from yesterday's outpatient. The kid's healthy and somehow this is supposed to mean you're not allowed to lie down. Sitter takes the kid out of the apartment. You sleep.
How it goes
Sitter shows up. You hand off the kid in your pajamas if that's what it takes. They're out of the apartment within the hour — playground, library, walk to the park. You go back to bed. They come home at 5 with the kid fed and tired.
We'll keep them out as long as the weather and the kid cooperate. The point is "not in your apartment" — the point is "not in your room."
Honest constraint
We're a two-sitter agency. Same-day coverage works some of the time, especially earlier in the day. Phone or text — not the form, which won't reach us in time.
If you're sick and we're booked, we'll tell you immediately so you can keep looking. See same-day availability tiers.
