Mornings · Brooklyn
The slot Brooklyn parents forget exists.
Everyone books Saturday night. Almost nobody books Saturday morning — even though it's the slot that fixes the actual problem (you're tired, the kids are up at 6:45, the weekend hasn't started yet). 8 AM start, half the competition.
Five reasons to book a morning sitter
- ·Sleep in Saturday. Sitter at 8, you sleep till 10, the kids ate breakfast someone else made.
- ·Adult brunch. Sitter at 10:30, you and your spouse at the place with the wait list, back by 1.
- ·Gym block. Recurring weekend morning, 9 to 11 — the only realistic way most parents actually train.
- ·Errand block. Three hours of nothing-with-you-attached. Grocery, hardware store, the appointment that's only Saturday morning.
- ·WFH overflow. The 9am Monday meeting and the kid is home from school. We come at 8.
The lead-time advantage
Almost always available, even on Saturday.
Saturday night books two weeks out. Saturday morning at 9? Usually open the day before. Most agencies don't market the morning slot, so the demand never builds.
For recurring families this is the easiest weekend slot to hold permanently — see recurring slots.
