The standard shape
- · Saturday or Sunday morning, same time every week
- · 8 or 9 AM start (we open at 8)
- · 90 minutes to 2 hours, sometimes 3 with shower-and-coffee on the back end
- · Same sitter every Saturday — kids learn the rhythm fast
- · Standard hourly rate, no minimum-block surcharge
Why the recurring shape matters
Booking a sitter every week is the same friction problem as going to the gym every week — eventually you don't. The standing slot fixes both at once. The sitter is on your calendar; not booking her takes more effort than just going.
