Sitter arrives, you do the handoff
Becky or Shelly shows up about 30 minutes before your reservation. Long enough for the kids to remember her face, short enough that you're still on time for the 7:15.
Dinner, the version your kids actually eat
Whatever you left in the fridge, plated and warmed. If it's chicken nuggets night, it's chicken nuggets night. We don't judge. Followed by whatever wind-down activity holds them — books, a low-stakes show, drawing.
Bath, story, lights out
Bedtime on whatever rhythm you wrote down. We follow your routine, not ours. No phones in their faces. No surprise iPad time.
You walk in, the house is quiet
Pay at the door — cash, Venmo, or Zelle. Two-minute debrief on how the night went. Then she heads home, you go check on the kids sleeping like the date never happened.

Lead time, honestly
Book Wednesday for Saturday. Sooner's better.
We're two sitters, not a marketplace. That's the whole point — you get the same face every time, the kids stop asking who's coming over. The tradeoff is calendar math: Friday and Saturday evenings book first, and once both Becky and Shelly are out, that slot is gone for the night.
Best move: lock the sitter the same day you lock the reservation. Weekday date nights usually clear on 24–48 hours notice. Saturday night in peak holiday weeks is a different story — those go out a week ahead.
